The Series

Woodson Falls is the new legal thriller/small-town mystery series from the pen of author Andrea O’Connor.

Set in the fictitious rural Connecticut town called Woodson Falls, this small hamlet is nestled along the New York border in the western part of the state.

The series begins with the mystery at 16 Lakeview Terrace and continues on to other locations within the town. It then continues with 9 Donovan’s Way. Next up on the tour is 2 Sunrise Trail, coming to you in 2022.

The main character, Gaby Quinn, is a second-career lawyer who, with a dog named Kat, escapes New York for the quiet Connecticut town of Woodson Falls after the violent death of her husband.

As with her fictional protagonist, law was not the author’s first career. Based on her own experiences as an attorney. the author began writing the book with her husband John, whose Parkinson’s disease had advanced too far for him to engage in his usual active lifestyle.

John’s flair for pushing fact into fiction through plotting and characterization fueled Andrea’s writing. Although John passed away before the first book in the series could be completed, Andrea’s plans for the series have only grown with the success of 16 Lakeview Terrace. As she puts it, “I’ve been bitten by the writing bug.”
